As Hurricane Ian approaches Florida, and in light of the City of Jacksonville’s recent declaration of a state of emergency, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to move our 24th annual Toast to the Animals to Wednesday, November 9, 2022.

The safety of our guests, staff, and volunteers is always our top priority. We cannot wait to see you on November 9 and are so excited to celebrate all YOU make possible at JHS.

We are also thrilled to share that this new date – November 9 – is a very special day for the Jacksonville Humane Society. November 9 is “Generosity Breeds Joy Day” – an official day of celebration declared by the City of Jacksonville to honor the work of JHS. It also marks the date that we officially opened our new building back in 2017.
