DESCRIPTION:Deck the Howls 2024\nWhen: Friday, December 13, 2023 – 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.\nWhere: Jacksonville Humane Society – 8464 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32216\nCost: $20 per family (all proceeds benefit JHS)\nThe Jacksonville Humane Society is joining dozens of animal shelters nationwide to celebrate the holiday season by “decking the howls” on Friday, December 13, from 5-7pm! Families are invited to spend a festive howl-iday evening with our pets featuring:\n\nthe opportunity to get cozy and read holiday stories to the dogs and cats at JHS (bring your favorite holiday book or borrow one of ours!)\ndecorating dog cookies\ndesigning holiday cards for the pets\ncrafting animal ornaments\n“gift wrapping” special toys for the cats\ncompeting in animal trivia\nparticipating in a one-of-a-kind raffle\n\nHoliday treats will be provided by our friends at Smallcakes Cupcakery and Creamery ( https://www.smallcakesjax.com/ ) along with hot cocoa courtesy of Winn-Dixie.\nThis is a family event. Parents/guardians MUST attend with children, and children of all ages are welcome.\nDon’t forget to wear your favorite festive pajamas!\nPurchase tickets!\n
