Free Vaccine Event for Pets
Keep your dogs and cats safe this spring with our FREE pet vaccine event for Duval County residents, courtesy of Petco Love!
Event Details:
- The event begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m. at Harveys Supermarket, 5250 W Moncrief Road, Jacksonville, FL 32209.
- Pets will be seen first-come, first-served, and while supplies last.
- There will also be an opportunity to sign your pet up for a free lost-and-found service, receive a coupon for a free microchip, and get information about low-cost veterinary care in our area.
- This event is made possible by Petco Love and BISSELL Pet Foundation. JHS is a proud #PetcoLovePartner.
Pet Vaccination Information:
- The free vaccines for pets include distemper and rabies only. That is DHAPP for dogs and FVRCP for cats.
- A rabies vaccine is required for pets, you cannot refuse the rabies vaccine unless you have paperwork to show that it is up to date.
- All pets must be contained – dogs on leashes and cats in carriers. If you need a carrier or a leash, come to the JHS booth at the event and we will provide what we have while supplies last.
- This event is for privately owned pets. Rescue groups who are in need of assistance are encouraged to call First Coast No More Homeless Pets at 904.425.0005.
- Duval residents only.
