School’s…out…for…summer! Well, not quite – but registration is now open for the Jacksonville Humane Society’s 2021 Summer Camp!

Children in rising grades 1-8 are invited to spend part of their summer at JHS learning all about dogs and cats and how to help pets at home and in the community.

Choose from 7 week-long sessions from June through July. Camp days run from 9am to 4pm with extended care available for an additional fee.

Space is filling up quickly, so register now to learn more and reserve a spot for your child. JHS will be adhering to strict COVID-19 protocols to ensure the health and safety of all summer campers.

Registration is also open for our 3-day Ambassadors in Training camp for high school students.

Registration is now open for our 2020 Winter Break Camp, sponsored by Tutor Doctor! Animal enthusiasts in grades K-8 are invited to spend part of their winter break “chilling” with the pets at JHS. We’ll learn all about animal sheltering, help socialize kittens, become dog and cat body language pros, train some pups, discover how to help pets at home and in the community, make crafts and treats for our four-legged friends, and so much more.

Session 1: December 21-22, 2020

Session 2: December 28-29, 2020

Cost: $150 per session

Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (extended care available for an additional fee of $20)

“Generosity Breeds Joy” Day Camp – Wednesday, November 11

Campers will learn all about animal behavior and sheltering, make fun crafts and treats for the pets, help promote pets for adoption, and so much more!

JHS camp hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at our Adoption and Education Center located at 8464 Beach Blvd. Extended care is available for an additional fee.
