Thank You for Your Interest…

Everyday, JHS Volunteers do everything from dog exercising to greeting the public, and each activity serves a very important role at our shelter. Without our dedicated and compassionate volunteer workforce, we would not be able to continue our efforts on behalf of the animals. Our volunteers come from all walks of life: retirees, corporate professionals, responsible teens and families. These volunteer positions are open to qualified applicants who can make an ongoing dedication of time to our animals. Please note that we may not currently be recruiting for all of the positions listed below. The most current recruitment needs are explained at New Volunteer Orientations.
