Meet our July Spokespet of the Month: Gigi! Gigi was a runner-up in our sixth annual Jacksonville’s Cutest Pet Contest.
“Gigi joined our family in January 2021 after a winding rescue journey that brought her to us through the Jacksonville Humane Society. My heart was set on three other dogs before her, but fate had other plans and we couldn’t be more grateful. Gigi was a handful at first, needing more care and patience than our two previous rescues, Petey and Dixie. But four-and-a-half years later, she has blossomed into the sweetest, goofiest, snuggliest girl who adores the pool and makes us laugh every single day. She’s not just our family’s joy, she’s also my inspiration for serving on the JHS Board, helping other pets find their loving homes. Gigi proves that sometimes the best matches are the ones we don’t expect.” – Gigi’s family
