It’s a simple, tax-efficient way to manage your charitable giving and help animals in need.
A donor-advised fund is an account where you can put money to give to charities over time, and you decide which charities receive it. When you put money into the account, you can get an immediate tax break for your donation. The money in the account can be invested, allowing it to grow tax-free over time and giving you more to donate to charities like JHS.
How do I donate from my Donor-Advised Fund to the animals at JHS?
To give from your DAF, use your provider’s website or our Giving Block platform.
The language on these platforms will often say “recommend a grant”.
You will need the Jacksonville Humane Society’s EIN, which is 59-0624410.
