Deck the Howls – Family Paw-liday Event
Deck the Howls 2024
When: Friday, December 13, 2023 – 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Where: Jacksonville Humane Society – 8464 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32216
Cost: $20 per family (all proceeds benefit JHS)
The Jacksonville Humane Society is joining dozens of animal shelters nationwide to celebrate the holiday season by “decking the howls” on Friday, December 13, from 5-7pm! Families are invited to spend a festive howl-iday evening with our pets featuring:
- the opportunity to get cozy and read holiday stories to the dogs and cats at JHS (bring your favorite holiday book or borrow one of ours!)
- decorating dog cookies
- designing holiday cards for the pets
- crafting animal ornaments
- “gift wrapping” special toys for the cats
- competing in animal trivia
- participating in a one-of-a-kind raffle
Holiday treats will be provided by our friends at Smallcakes Cupcakery and Creamery along with hot cocoa courtesy of Winn-Dixie.
This is a family event. Parents/guardians MUST attend with children, and children of all ages are welcome.
Don’t forget to wear your favorite festive pajamas!
