It’s Homecoming Week at JHS – September 15-21! Our 2025 Homecoming Court is here, and they’re ready to win your heart! These 10 lovable dogs and cats each have their own unique charm and they’re all hoping this celebration leads them to one thing: a new, loving home. 💛
Every Court member has their adoption fee waived! Come meet them in person at 8464 Beach Blvd and check out their personality graphics at jaxhumane.org/adopt But that’s not all… all other pets at JHS have half off adoption fees through September 21! Don’t miss your chance to bring home your very own Homecoming star.
👑 NINA – I am a very loving and outgoing dog. I love going on adventures and when I am not outside then you can catch me snuggled up to you on the couch. I ABSOLUTELY love treats, especially if its flavored! It takes me a little time to open up but once I do, I won’t be able to leave your side.
👑 DOLLY PARTON – Hi, my name is Dolly Parton Man, isn’t it hard working 9-5? This little diva is “Jolene” level charming. I’ll always love you and your snacks. I am a little country and a whole lot of cute! Wanna come sing some tunes?
👑 LUNA – Hi, my name is Luna! My favorite kind of treat is anything bacon flavored. I also love playing with squeaky toys and stuffed toys. I enjoy how kong toys provide great enrichment (and they’re pretty yummy). I find pets and attention is my love language.
👑 JERMAINE – Hi, my name is Jermaine! I love to play in the pool, fetch, and bobbing for tennis balls in the pool! I love to snuggle and play with all kinds of toys. I take treats very gently and know how to sit. I really enjoy training and learning new tricks. While I love being on the go, I am also a big snuggle bug and love a good cuddle session!
👑 JOKER – Hi, my name is Joker! I am already house trained and crate trained, so I am ready to go! I really enjoy going out on the town and getting a pup cup. I love all kinds of attention from snuggles to pets. My friends describe me as full of life, enthusiastic, and adventurous.
👑 MORT – Hi, my name is Mort! I love pupperoni and cookies. My friends describe me as happy-go-lucky, full of life, patient, and polite. Want to get to know me? Come up to the front and ask how to meet me today.
👑 KONA – Hi, my name is Kona. I am already crate trained and house trained, so I am ready to go! I also know basic commands like sit, down, stay, and more. I love ALL kinds of snacks and would love to learn more tricks with some encouragement!
