Waggin’ Into Spring: Adoption Event at Jacksonville Humane Society

With spring break behind us and the sun shining brightly over Jacksonville, it’s a wonderful time for families to plan a visit to the Jacksonville Humane Society (JHS).

This season, JHS is inviting the community to take part in its Waggin’ Into Spring Adoption Event, a full week dedicated to helping pets find loving homes.

From Monday, April 13 through Sunday, April 19, adoption fees for all pets will be half off, making it a great opportunity to welcome a new companion into your life. Whether you’re looking for an energetic dog, a relaxed companion, or a playful kitten, there are many wonderful pets waiting to meet you.

Community members interested in adopting are encouraged to visit the JHS Adoption & Education Center, located at 8464 Beach Boulevard in Jacksonville, during the following hours:

Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17 | 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Saturday, April 18 through Sunday, April 19 | 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Adopters should note that additional items and fees, such as a leash and collar, city rabies licensing, or a cat carrier, may apply at the time of adoption.
