At the Jacksonville Humane Society, we have a lot to be thankful for, and it starts with the people who make our work possible. Our Thank-a-Thon is underway as we take time to celebrate our supporters and share a message that can never be said enough: thank you.

Every day, your generosity makes a difference for dogs, cats, and the people who love them. It helps provide meals, medical care, comfortable places to rest, and opportunities for pets to meet their new families. Behind each adoption photo and happy update is a community that helped make that moment possible.

The Thank-a-Thon is a chance to pause and recognize those contributions. Whether you’ve donated, volunteered, fostered, adopted, or shared a JHS post, you’ve helped connect pets with care and people with companions. We’re grateful for every way you choose to get involved.

We often share stories about the animals in our care, but this celebration is about you, too. It’s about the foster parent who makes room for a kitten, the volunteer who spends an afternoon walking dogs, and the donor who gives what they can. Those everyday acts of kindness add up to something meaningful for our community.
