Valentine’s Day isn’t just for humans – it’s for pets too! During Love Every Pet Week (February 14–21, 2026), we’re celebrating the resilient, special needs pets who inspire us every day at the Jacksonville Humane Society. From puppies like Honeyplum recovering from injuries to kittens like Blue Cheese growing stronger in foster care, these animals remind us of what it truly means to care.

This year, we’re taking it a step further. We’re introducing Love Every Pet, Every Month, our monthly giving program dedicated to supporting pets whose care doesn’t end after a single visit or procedure. Monthly donors provide consistent support that allows us to fund lifesaving medical procedures, provide foster care for vulnerable pets, and enable us to say “yes” to pets who need extra care when they arrive.

How Your Gift Makes a Difference
During Love Every Pet Week, every donation is helping to provide immediate care, and your first monthly gift can go even further:
• $20 provides vaccines for one pet
• $100 provides a spay or neuter surgery for one pet
• $250 covers total care for a litter of kittens
• $500 helps treat two dogs for heartworm
• $1,000 helps fund specialty, lifesaving surgeries and procedures

Our goal is to sign up 25 new monthly donors to unlock an additional $25,000 gift from an anonymous donor – which means your support during this week matters even more!
