The Jacksonville Humane Society and the All-Star Youth Choir have teamed up for a special musical collaboration that shows what compassion can accomplish when it is put into action.

In a newly released music video for the original song “What Compassion Can Do,” the choir’s young performers share an uplifting message while bringing attention to the dogs and cats awaiting adoption at JHS. The song and video were written, directed and filmed by Cameron Moten.

The lyrics encourage listeners to help animals in need, form meaningful friendships with pets and find ways to make a difference right where they are. The song also celebrates adoption and the people who dedicate their time to caring for animals throughout the community.

At the heart of “What Compassion Can Do” is a simple reminder: compassion is more than a feeling. It begins when people choose to take action.

From adopting a pet and volunteering to fostering or donating, everyone can play a role in helping animals. Through this collaboration, the All-Star Youth Choir hopes to inspire people across Jacksonville to lead with kindness and discover how even one compassionate choice can change a life.
