The Jacksonville Humane Society (JHS) is bringing a fresh dose of joy to the season with its upcoming Easter Holiday Adoption Event, offering the community a meaningful and memorable way to welcome a new pet this spring.

Designed to make adoption both exciting and accessible, the event will feature a festive “Pick an Egg” experience for adopters. Each egg holds a surprise adoption fee, giving participants the chance to receive a special discounted rate while opening their hearts and homes to a pet in need. It’s a fun twist that adds an element of anticipation while reinforcing JHS’s mission to connect more animals with loving families.

Spring is a time of renewal, and there’s no better way to celebrate than by bringing home a new pet. Whether you’re looking for a playful companion or a gentle, loyal presence, this event creates the perfect opportunity to find your match.

Community members interested in adopting can visit the JHS Adoption Center at 8464 Beach Boulevard during the following hours:

Saturday, April 4 – Sunday, April 5: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Monday, April 6: 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.
