Meet Posey! This adorable pup is a wiggly, enthusiastic gal whose favorite things include peanut butter-stuffed Kongs, petting sessions, and TOYS. Posey loves all kinds of toys – tug toys, squeaky toys, stuffed toys, you name it!

Posey is a super smart lady – she’s already mastered the “sit” and “place” skills and her adoption comes with a free round of training classes at JHS!

Posey is waiting to meet you in her suite in the JHS Adoption Center. Her adoption is sponsored!

Sandy is a curious, laid-back fellow who loves getting attention, snuggles, and pets from his human friends. Cheek rubs are his fave!

He recently spent time in a foster home and his hosts reported that he also enjoys being brushed and exploring shelves and boxes. Sandy spent time with other cats and a dog in his foster home and did well with everyone.

Not ready to adopt? Take Posey or Sandy home for a Staycation! Staycations are short-term fostering commitments that give our adult pets – like Posey and Sandy – much-needed breaks from the shelter. To get started, just stop by our Adoption Center at 8464 Beach Blvd. during our hours of operation: Monday-Friday from 12-7pm and Saturday-Sunday from 10am-5pm. Let our team at the front desk know you’d like to take Posey or Sandy home for a Staycation and they’ll guide you through the process!
