We hope you will join us for our 26th annual Toast to the Animals, Jacksonville’s premier charitable tasting event, on Friday, October 4, 2024, at EverBank Stadium! Toast to the Animals will be a night to remember, bringing our community together to support the amazing work the Jacksonville Humane Society’s Medical Fund does annually. In addition to being a fun-filled night on the town for animal lovers, we will be honoring Peter Racine, Senior Vice President of the Jaguars Foundation, for the impact he and the Jaguars Foundation have had on our community.
Toast to the Animals will feature hors d’oeuvres, desserts from local restaurants and eateries, wine, beer, music, and lively, one-of-a-kind silent and live auctions. Plus, you won’t want to miss crowd-favorite activities like a Wine Pull presented by VyStar Credit Union, a Diamond Drawing sponsored by Diamonds Direct, and Mutt Putt sponsored by THE PLAYERS! We will also share meaningful stories from the JHS community, including a featured pet! All guests will receive a commemorative JHS wine glass upon check-in.
In addition, we are excited to recognize our Kitten Krusaders, veterinary practices that partner with JHS to provide good Samaritans the opportunity to care for kittens in their homes instead of surrendering them to a shelter: Intracoastal West Veterinary Hospital, First Coast No More Homeless Pets, Mandarin Veterinary Clinic, VCA All Animal Hospital of Orange Park, VCA Augustine Loretto Animal Hospital, VCA Briarcliff Animal Hospital, and VCA Fleming Island Animal Hospital.
Proceeds from Toast to the Animals will benefit the JHS Medical Fund, which helps us to provide lifesaving medical care to animals suffering from illness or injury. We do not receive any state or federal funding. It is only through the generosity of individuals and businesses like yours that JHS, a 501(c)(3) organization, is able to provide for the nearly 8,000 animals in our care.
