April Pets of the Month Landon and Adele

April 2023 Pets of the Month: Landon + Adele

Thank you to the office of State Farm agent Ron Kutruff for sponsoring our Pets of the Month! Ready to meet them?

State Farm Ron Kutruff Pets of the Month

Landon

Meet Landon! Landon is a goofy, extroverted guy who likes spending time with his human friends, going on walks, and playing with all kinds of toys – especially tough stuffed toys that he can chew on and toss around. Landon participates in dog playgroups at JHS and even enjoys a good romp with the flirt pole from time to time. What’s a flirt pole, you ask? It’s like a giant cat wand toy…for dogs!

Landon is also a big fan of SNACKS – who can relate? He’d love to go out for a burger with you (hold the onions, please).

Landon is waiting to meet you in his suite in the JHS Adoption Center. His adoption is sponsored!

Not sure if you’re ready to adopt yet? Want to treat Landon to a break from the shelter? Try a Shelter Staycation! To get started, just stop by our Adoption Center at 8464 Beach Blvd. during our hours of operation: Monday-Friday from 12-7pm and Saturday-Sunday from 10am-5pm. Let our team at the front desk know you’d like to take Landon home for a Staycation and they’ll guide you through the process!

If you have any questions about our Shelter Staycation program, please email our team at [email protected].

Adele

Adele is an independent, curious lady who enjoys exploring new areas, resting on soft blankets, and basking in the sunlight. Her foster family shared that Adele “loves playtime both with catnip toys and wand toys” and “one of her favorite activities is being brushed.” Adele has also been working on some clicker training – she’s one clever cat!

Adele can be a bit shy at first, but according to her foster family, once she’s had enough time to get to know someone she enjoys pets and will seek out affection.

Adele is currently taking a break from the shelter in a foster home. If you’d like to meet her or learn more about her, please email our team at [email protected]. We’d love for Adele to be adopted from her foster home if possible, as the shelter has been extra stressful for her. Her adoption is sponsored!
