Wafer

Wafer is a chill, friendly guy who loves hanging out with people of all ages. He has enjoyed meeting kids in several of JHS’s humane education programs and is a big fan of pets and butt scratches. This handsome dude also gets along well with other dogs and regularly participates in doggy playgroups at JHS.

Wafer has been on a few Dog Day Out field trips since he arrived at JHS. His hosts have described him as calm, lazy, happy, clever, sweet, and laid-back. We hear the way to his heart just might be a Starbucks puppuccino…

Not ready to adopt? Take Wafer home for a Staycation! Staycations are short-term fostering commitments that give our adult pets much-needed breaks from the shelter. To get started, just stop by our Adoption Center at 8464 Beach Blvd. during our hours of operation: Monday-Friday from 12-7pm and Saturday-Sunday from 10am-5pm. Let our team at the front desk know you’d like to take Wafer home for a Staycation and they’ll guide you through the process!

Freddy

Meet Freddy! This mini-panther is a calm, polite fellow who can be a bit shy when he first meets new people. Who can relate? Once he gets to know you a little, Freddy enjoys being petted and will happily relax next to you on the couch while you watch your favorite show.

Freddy also loves playing and lounging inside boxes and tents (glamping, anyone?), napping, and snacking on tasty wet food. Yum!
