Thackary

Meet Thackary! Thackary is a fun, athletic, happy-go-lucky guy who loves long walks, running around outside in the fresh air, rolling in the grass, and exploring. He recently spent time in a foster home, and his foster host shared that he “likes to be with or near you” and is especially fond of face rubs!

Thackary also enjoys playing fetch and chasing toys, and some of his favorite snacks include peanut butter Kongs, frozen Greek yogurt, and apples – yum!

Want to meet Thackary? He’s waiting for you in his kennel in the JHS Adoption Center! His adoption is sponsored.

Not ready to adopt yet? Thackary is available to go home with you on a Staycation! Staycations are short-term fostering commitments that give some of our adult pets – like Thackary – much-needed breaks from the shelter. To get started, just stop by our Adoption Center at 8464 Beach Blvd. during our hours of operation: Monday-Friday from 12-7pm and Saturday-Sunday from 10am-5pm. Let our team at the front desk know you’d like to take Thackary home for a Staycation and they’ll guide you through the process.

Ekans

Ekans is an incredibly friendly feline who absolutely adores cheek rubs and chin scratches. He would love to go home with you and keep you company during those cozy couch movie marathons. Ekans is also an expert biscuit maker and will work hard to keep your kitchen stocked with the finest cat loaves.

Ekans’ other favorite things include naps, soft blankets and beds, and relaxing near windows when it’s sunny outside.
