Thank you to the office of State Farm agent Ron Kutruff for sponsoring our Pets of the Month! Ready to meet them?
Rudy! Rudy! Rudy! Rudy! This handsome guy is a staff and volunteer favorite at JHS, and it’s easy to see why once you meet him. He’s super sweet, smart, and full of life.
Rudy recently spent time in a foster home. Here’s what his foster parents had to say about him:
“Rudy LOVES going for walks and is a pleasure to walk! He did great playing with my dog, seems crate trained, and knows quite a few tricks, like ‘paw’! Rudy is playful, but he also knows how to relax, enjoys going for car rides and getting snuggles, and is a happy-go-lucky kind of guy!”
Want to meet Rudy? He’s waiting for you in his suite in the JHS Adoption Center! His adoption is sponsored.
It’s okay. We know what you’re thinking. Don’t be fooled by P.K.’s grouchy looks! P.K. is a friendly, adventurous cat who enjoys head rubs, chin scratches, and afternoon naps. She also has the prettiest silver fur! Maybe she’s a Targaryen? Rumor has it P.K. actually stands for “Pretty Kitty.”
P.K. recently spent time in a foster home, and her foster parents described her as “cuddly and very playful” and “a great cat to play and nap with.”
Want to meet P.K.? You’ll find her in her kitty kennel in the JHS Adoption Center! Her adoption is sponsored.
Not ready to adopt? Take P.K. home for a Staycation! Staycations are short-term fostering commitments that give our adult pets much-needed breaks from the shelter. To get started, just stop by our Adoption Center at 8464 Beach Blvd. during our hours of operation: Monday-Friday from 12-7pm and Saturday-Sunday from 10am-5pm. Let our team at the front desk know you’d like to take P.K. home for a Staycation and they’ll guide you through the process!
If you have any questions about our Shelter Staycation program, please email our team at [email protected].
