Penelope

Meet Penelope! Penelope is a loving, adventurous ray of sunshine who loves a great game of fetch and exploring the world around her. When Penelope is not snuggling up for a cozy nap or spending quality time with human friends, you can usually find her playing with her favorite corn toy! (She even has a couple of tricks up her sleeve that she is excited to show you.)

Penelope recently went on a Dog Day Out adventure where her chaperones described her as “adventurous,” “loving,” and “adorable.” They said her favorite part of the day was walking through the park and enjoying a delicious ice cream cup!

Lake

Meet Lake! Lake is a fearless girl who is full of life and wet food (her favorite)! She enjoys playing with her mice toys and loves to play chase any chance she gets. We also hear Lake is a huge fan of head rubs, climbing, and – of course – TREATS!

If you are looking for your very own adventure buddy, Lake is just the girl! She will always keep you laughing as she has been described as “curious,” “funny,” and “adventurous.”

Not quite ready to adopt but want to give Penelope or Lake a mini-getaway? Both Penelope and Lake are Staycation Eligible! Shelter Staycations allow our adult dogs and cats to have a break from the shelter and help us learn more about their personalities.
